Landscape in Mind
There exists a variety of landscapes, creatures and objects inside our mind, just like in the reality we live in. The only difference is that they are repeatedly created and extinguished by our ego.
Those that repeat to be created and then extinguished may be of negligible matter to the ego, but they certainly must have had their own special relationships with each other in the past.
The term ‘relationship’ involves various implications. It can signify the connection between different subjects, the connection tied by social regulations, or the relations among different aspects and influences, etc. My work attempts to reinterpret the significance of such relationships within the landscape in mind.
Inside the landscape in mind, a variety of creatures and things exist within the spaces created by the ego, and such spaces and beings vary in size and number. If each being holds its own intrinsic value of existence and is linked to one another, the relationship they form may already be complicated. They were given existence by the ego, but they will continuously adjust themselves and evolve, and ultimately coordinate themselves their own values of existence, regardless of the relationship with the ego.
If there exist beings inside the mind irrespective of the ego, how should the ego acknowledge their values? Are they to be deeply deposited by the fragments of memory of the ego?
