The face is the part of our body that can control others` memories through its own visual images. The face we can imagine has not only physical sides but also aura which reflects the inner world. In this context, the artworks of KIM MIN KI focus on "Gyeol" that is hidden behind people`s faces. The dictionary definition of "Gyeol" is the knitted pattern formed by consistent ply. It implies the "journey of lines" and plays a role as the visual language which leads to the theme of the work. The process would be the journey of KIM MIN KI as well as your journey to explore the introvert geography.
