The essential message I would like to address is that there is no absolute solution to life, and that we need to constantly examine the fundamental questions about humans and the human society. We encounter numerous moments that accumulate to form events, and that happens not only at one’s core of existence, but also in between different beings, coincidences, and inevitability. Every human being is social at nature, and we all establish our true selves through building relationships. With the use of raw materials such as charcoal, shell powder and marble powder, I try to maintain restraint and balance within the canvas. Then the repetitive action of fixing the materials onto the surface forms a strong bond among the tiny particles of unpredictability, finally revealing the stream of intuition and consciousness.
