작가노트
Most people live the reality but dream of their ideals in their minds. The various media we encounter in modern society help us dream of such ideals.
When painting, I work with different kinds of pleasures, one of which is to summon various subjects and characters from mass media and let them unfold in the space of my imagination. Such space becomes my own “spiritual cabinet” which endures in my mind all the time, providing me the guidance of my life and a peaceful place where all my beloved ones coexist and interact with one another. The various narratives in my paintings will gradually emerge into the air and flourish upon the encounter with the audience.
