The Story of the Shadows A shadow is a projection of something tangible, but the shadow itself is immaterial and its temporary figure is only perceived through the eyes. Whilst observing shadows, I discovered that there’s something in common in between a picture and a shadow. They are both flat and serene, and intimate with light. The frame within a frame: the frame within a canvas, and the frame of a window. The floating shadows upon the frame, and their irregular overlaying onto one another. The multiple layers of shadows become the silent records of different moments, feelings and emotions. The viewers may discover the unknown stories of their own.
